E-Waste Collection in Pleasanton

EWaste Pleasanton

E-Waste Recycling in Pleasanton, CA

I’m looking at my dinosaur of a laptop I bought 4 years ago and thinking it’s time for an upgrade. If I’m thinking about throwing this thing away, then the VCR, printer, camera or anything else you have from the turn of the century is better off at the Alameda County Fairgrounds on April 17th – 19th.

The City of Pleasanton is organizing a FREE E-Waste collection this month at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Friday from noon till 5:00 and Saturday & Sunday 9:00 to 3:00.

Every type of electronic equipment can be dropped off for free and no limit on the amount. Printers, DVD’s, cables, toner cartridges, monitors, keyboards…

They also were collecting drugs, needles, and mercury-filled thermometers. I dropped mine off near the end of the event and they certainly collected a large amount.
